Position Title:Plumber

Reports To:Executive Director of Facility Operations
Beginning:May 2026
Terms of Employment:A full contract for this position is 240 days with benefits as specified in employee contract. Contract will be prorated based on actual start date.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma or GED.
- 2 - 5 years experience preferred.
- Master or Journeyman license preferred.
- Valid Drivers License.
- Commercial / light industrial preferred.
- Ability to lift 75 pounds to shoulder height occasionally.
- Ability to push/pull a minimum of 50 pounds frequently.
- Ability to perform physical labor in hot and cold outdoor environments.
- Ability to climb up and down ladders of various heights.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Assemble install maintain and pressure test all pipes fitting and fixtures of heating water drainage sprinkler and gas systems according to specifications and plumbing codes.
- Determine sources of plumbing malfunctions and complete repairs as indicated or according to assigned work orders.
- Install and repair pipes fittings valves fixtures and plumbing system equipment including sinks commodes water heaters water softeners etc.
- Maintain inventory of district-owned tools equipment and materials.
- Work with building Principals and Supervisors to complete projects.
- Respond to emergency calls as needed.
- Perform Preventative Maintenance as needed.
- Ensure that equipment is in safe operating condition and follow established safety procedures.
- Correct any unsafe conditions in work areas and report any conditions that are not correctable to the Supervisor immediately.
- Ability to maintain emotional control under stress.
- Must be able to work independently sometimes with minimal supervision.
- Attend meetings as scheduled by supervisors and district administration.
- Maintain a professional relationship with students faculty administration and community patrons.
- Maintains prompt and regular attendance
- Attend trainings as required.
- Other duties as assigned by administration.
