Marvin Composites in Fargo ND is hiring an Extrusion Tooling Technician to support our Extrusion plant.
In this hands-on role you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining Extrusion dies calibrators and templates to ensure safe efficient and high-quality production. Youll partner closely with process support and production teams to support new product launches and existing tooling. This includes cleaning repair and preventative maintenance of existing tooling to help facilitate the trial and production schedules. If you enjoy hands-on work have a strong attention to detail and are interested in working with CNC equipment and tooling in a manufacturing environment we encourage you to apply.
Highlights of your role
Proactively clean maintain polish and prepare tools as needed
Set priorities based on production needs
Disassembles cleans pre-assembles inspects tooling prior to scheduled runs. Demonstrates tooling troubleshooting skills
Manages timetables for replacement dies/parts and shipments of dies to minimize impact on production
Manages inventory of Tool & Die parts and consumables for extrusion tooling
Ability to provide training to associates on proper tooling maintenance die cleaning assembly and operation
Schedule:
Monday - Thursday 12:00 PM - 10:30 PM
Youre a good fit if you have (or if you can)
Two or more years of relevant work experience
Experience with extrusion preferred
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively with production and other cross-functional teams
