Job Summary

Are you detail-oriented reliable and passionate about maintaining a clean well-organized event environment Were seeking a Banquet Steward to support our banquet and events team in delivering seamless high-quality service in a newly renovated and vibrant setting. Your behind-the-scenes efforts will play a key role in the success of meetings weddings and special events.

Responsibilities:

Set up break down and reset banquet rooms according to event orders and service standards
Maintain cleanliness of banquet spaces kitchens storage areas and service corridors
Clean and properly store banquet equipment including tables chairs linens china glassware and silverware
Assist banquet servers and culinary team as needed before during and after events
Ensure proper handling and disposal of trash recyclables and food waste
Follow all health safety and sanitation guidelines including proper use of cleaning chemicals
Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management
Maintain a professional appearance and work collaboratively with the events team
Support a positive guest experience through efficiency cleanliness and attention to detail

Requirements

Minimum lifting of 50 pounds
Hearing writing typing
Pushing bending stooping upward reaching manual dexterity
Previous experience in banquets stewarding hospitality or food & beverage preferred
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and organization
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced event-driven environment
Ability to follow instructions event diagrams and established procedures
Physical ability to stand for extended periods lift push pull and move banquet equipment
Knowledge of safety sanitation and food handling standards preferred
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; relevant experience accepted
Knowledge of applicable federal state and local health and safety regulations
Ability to obtain required licenses or certifications if applicable
Additional language skills a plus
CPR and First Aid training preferred
