Job Summary

The School of Business and Economics (SBE) at Brandeis University seeks instructors to teach a four credit course in Strategy and Innovation in AY 26/27. These courses are part of the graduate curriculum (MBA and specialized masters programs) and may include topics such as:

  • Competition and Strategy (core strategy course)
  • Alliances and Mergers & Acquisitions Strategy
  • Innovation Strategy
  • Technology Management
  • Platform Strategy and Digital Ecosystems
  • Corporate Strategy and Growth

Courses are designed to provide students with rigorous frameworks and practical tools to analyze competitive environments formulate strategy and understand how firms create and sustain competitive advantage in dynamic markets. All courses are taught using case-based and/or experiential learning methods (including case discussions simulations and applied projects) and emphasize active student participation. Course assignments and scheduling will depend on program needs and instructor expertise.

Candidates should have a minimum qualification of a Masters degree (PhD preferred) in strategy management economics sociology or a related field along with relevant professional and/or teaching experience. We particularly welcome applicants with industry experience in consulting technology innovation management corporate strategy entrepreneurship or related fields. Experience in teaching using case-based or experiential methodologies is strongly preferred.

This appointment is to a position that is in a collective bargaining unit represented by SEIU Local 509.

Compensation for this position is $10000/four-credit course.

The Universitys pay ranges represent a good faith estimate of what Brandeis reasonably expects to pay for a position at the time of posting.
