Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and quality-driven Housekeeping Room Inspector to join our team this role you will ensure guest rooms meet brand standards for cleanliness presentation and overall guest readiness. You will play a key role in delivering an elevated guest experience by maintaining the highest levels of quality and consistency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect cleaned guest rooms to ensure compliance with Renaissance and Marriott brand standards
- Confirm all amenities linens and supplies are properly stocked and presented
- Identify and report maintenance concerns or safety issues promptly
- Provide feedback and support to Room Attendants to improve performance and consistency
- Prioritize and inspect VIP arrivals early check-ins and special request rooms
- Update room status in the hotels property management system in real time
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness standards in public areas as needed
- Support housekeeping leadership with quality control initiatives and special projects
- Ensure adherence to all health safety and sanitation guidelines
Qualifications
- Prior hotel housekeeping experience required; inspection or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced high-volume environment
- Effective communication and team collaboration skills
- Basic computer proficiency; Marriott systems experience is a plus
- Flexibility to work weekends holidays and varying shifts
Minimum lifting of 20 pounds.
Pushing bending stooping upward reaching manual dexterity.
Hearing writing typing.
Minimum pulling of 20 pounds.
Must have a comprehensive knowledge of all hotel departments and functions.
Must have good mathematical and computer skills.
High school education and relevant training and experience required. Additional education preferred.
CPR and first aid training preferred.
Additional language ability preferred
