Basic Job Functions:
Nucor Steel Jackson - General Recycling is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator. Responsibilities include safely operating material handlers to unload and load prepared and unprepared scrap metal from various sources of supply. This person must have the ability to interact and service internal and external customers with a polite positive representative of a General Recycling Teammate. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate lead and uphold safety policies practices procedures and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
2-years Heavy Equipment Operator Experience - Mobile Cranes preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
High mechanical aptitude
