Job Summary
The roles purpose is to be accountable for the overall supply plan quality within the Finished Goods Operations (FGO) supply chain for our Instruments businesses. FGO includes external Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) / Contract Manufacturing (CM) product suppliers. The role is also responsible for measuring the performance of the execution of the supply plan in meeting the demand requirements. The role will interface with commercial teams procurement and sourcing partners finance partners and other related planning teams and will be the primary communicator for both short and long-term impacts on the FGO supply chain.
What you will do
Own supply plan quality and performance for assigned FGO portfolios ensuring plans meet demand requirements and agreed service targets.
Evaluate supply plans financially in partnership with Finance ensuring impacts to inventory cost cash and operational targets are clearly understood by Procurement and franchise leadership.
Deploy and manage core supply planning processes including capacity planning demand and supply execution and finished goods safety stock management.
Represent supply capability and risks in executive supply reviews (e.g. Franchise / Executive Supply Reviews) clearly communicating constraints options and implications.
Proactively identify supply risks and backorder drivers lead mitigation actions and ensure timely escalation with clear recovery plans.
Ensure procurement execution alignment with the approved supply plan monitoring deviations and supporting a balanced scorecard approach to KPIs.
Drive continuous improvement of supply planning processes data quality and planning standards in line with defined business models and process excellence expectations.
Track communicate and act on KPIs ensuring corrective actions are taken when performance deviates and updates are provided to leadership in a timely manner.
What you need
Required:
Degree level in Business/Finance/Supply Chain management or a related field
Minimum 2 years of experience in either a production supply or demand planning role
Handson experience with SAP IBP (or equivalent )
Exposure to executivelevel supply reviews
Strong understanding of supply planning fundamentals including service levels inventory capacity and lead times
Fluency in English
Preferred:
Experience supporting Finished Goods Operations OEM or Contract Manufacturing environments
Experience with NPI (New product initiatives / transfers / supplier readiness)
