Test Automation Engineer

We are currently looking for a Test Automation Engineer to strengthen the Cronos Europa team

Location: Near-site(accessible within 2 hours from Brussels) - Remote work possible

Responsabilities:

• Definition of test plans and test cases.

• Construction of test scenarios and scripts.

• Execution of tests.

• Preparation and maintenance of test data.

• Test reporting.

• Automated testing

  • Enable the transition to an automated testing approach.

  • Evaluate tools and technologies for automation best fit to the project within the DevSecOps approach.

  • Create an approach and methodology for building a test automation architecture.

  • Design prepare and monitor automated tests.

  • Design and develop new or modified test automation solutions that meet business needs.

  • Create automated test reporting and metrics collection.

  • Support business stakeholders during acceptance testing.

Technical skills:

• Experience in manual testing.

• Experience in test automation (minimum 3 years).

• Experience in test data preparation.

• Experience (at least 3 years) working in Agile/Sprint-based IT project methodologies.

• Experience (at least 1 year) with data quality checking using SQL or similar languages in databases and/or data lakes.

• Good knowledge of data-driven projects and data-driven solutions testing (data warehouse data lakes data mining etc.).

• Good knowledge of testing technologies tools frameworks and techniques particularly in cloud environments.

• Knowledge of:

  • Test Management Tools (e.g. Zephyr for JIRA).

  • Defect Tracking tools in particular JIRA / Zephyr for JIRA.

  • Web application testing tools such as WebdriverIO Selenium or Protractor.

  • API testing tools such as SOAPUI.

  • Relational database management systems (MS SQL Oracle).

  • Public cloud technologies.

• Knowledge of Elasticsearch Spark Machine Learning Deep Learning and Artificial Intelligence technologies is an asset.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Good redaction skills with experience in preparing written reports.

• Strong analysis and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to write clear and structured documents.

• Ability to cope with fast-changing technologies used in application development.

Profile :

• Bachelors or Masters degree in IT Business Management or a related field.

• Ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Fluency in English is required French is a strong asset (B1/B2).

• Capability of integration in an international and multicultural environment with rapid self-starting capability and strong team spirit.

• Ability to participate in multilingual meetings and work on multiple large projects simultaneously.

• Excellent team player.

• High degree of discretion and integrity is required due to the management of personal and confidential data.

Certifications:

• ISTQB Specialist Level Test Automation Engineer

• ISTQB Specialist Level Test Acceptance Testing

• ISTQB Advanced Level Test Analyst

• Any equivalent certification subject to approval by the requesting unit
