Nurse Practitioner Gastroenterology (GI APP) Full-Time
Location: Seattle Area Washington
A well-established not-for-profit healthcare system in the Seattle area is actively seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner Gastroenterology (GI APP) to join its growing specialty team. The organization participates in the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program.
Position Overview
Provide outpatient gastroenterology care including evaluation and management of GI conditions
Assess diagnose and treat conditions such as GERD IBS IBD liver disease and GI bleeding
Perform patient consultations follow-ups and preventive screenings
Collaborate closely with gastroenterologists on treatment plans and care coordination
Assist with pre- and post-procedure care for endoscopic procedures (EGD colonoscopy)
Educate patients on diet medications and lifestyle modifications
Order and interpret labs imaging and diagnostic studies
Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems
Qualifications
Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP)
Active or eligible for Washington State licensure
Active/eligible DEA registration
Prior experience in gastroenterology internal medicine or primary care preferred
Strong clinical assessment and patient management skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
