Job Description:

The Field Engineering Specialist (Logistics) will be responsible for receiving stocking issuing and inventorying aircraft LRUs consumables and support equipment.

Essential Functions:

Inspection and verification of material received to ensure the correct certification paperwork is included with the material.
Accomplish required paperwork and entry of information into an inventory software program.
Research parts and material using government military and commercial technical orders and publications.
Audit configuration of selected LRUs and update database.
Package and crate material for shipment.
Coordinate shipment of outgoing material with transportation vendors.
Occasional overtime along with dayshift swing shift and rotating on call for nights and weekends are required.
Ability to work in a demanding environment.
Working knowledge of a warehouse to include Periodic inventory Hazmat inventory control regulations/warehousing Equipment calibration program Bench stock program and MSK program.
Ability to lift 50lbs.
Ability to obtain a forklift license.
Ability to obtain and maintain Yankee White.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree with four (4) years of logistics and/or warehouse with vehicle/AGE experience.
Graduate Degree with two (2) years of logistics and/or warehouse with vehicle/AGE experience.
In lieu of a degree minimum of eight (8) years of logistics and/or warehouse with vehicle/AGE experience.
Must have an active Top Secret with SCI at the time of hire.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Preferred Additional Skills:

Experience in a military environment and use of military Vehicle Maintenance Forms.
BSI and M3 database experience.
FedEx software knowledge.
EESOH-MIS Hazmat software experience.
