JRIs Childrens Friend and Family Services division is committed to assisting families and their children who are experiencing substantial behavioral emotional and mental health challenges. Our mission is to ensure they can access the vital services necessary to flourish at home in school and within their communities.
During Your Internship You Will:
- Learn how to use new clinical interventions to support youth and families.
- Explore your clinical knowledge through use of evidence based and competent modalities.
- Strengthen your documentation skills and use of electronic medical records.
- Be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team supporting youth and families.

Requirements:
- Minimum working towards a Bachelors degree or above in the mental health social work or human service field.
- Fluency in Spanish and English is required.
- Interest in working with children/adolescents is required and familiarity with trauma informed models of treatment preferred.
- Good written and oral communication skills are necessary.
- Background and driving record checks will be performed.
