About this role
As an Emergency Services RN at Emplify Health by Gundersen Hillsboro you will be a vital part of a compassionate mission-driven team delivering high-quality emergency care to our rural community. This role offers the flexibility of casual on call work while allowing you to make a meaningful impact in a close-knit hospital environment. You will embody our mission of empathy amplified by providing timely expert care in our 24/7 emergency room supporting patients and families when they need it most.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver skilled nursing care to patients in the emergency department
- Collaborate with physicians specialists and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes or emergencies
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital protocols and standards
- Participate in ongoing training and maintain required certifications
What you will need
- Valid Wisconsin State nursing license
- Minimum one year of Emergency Services nursing experience
- Current BLS ACLS PALS and TNCC certifications
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
