About the team and role:
Director of Product Management role at the intersection of technical SEO AI-driven discovery product strategy and cross-functional execution.
What you will accomplish:
You will develop and implement a forward-looking SEO strategy to meaningfully grow top-of-funnel user acquisition
Identify unexplored keyword content and indexation opportunities across eBays massive supply base
Lead technical SEO initiatives spanning site architecture internal linking crawl efficiency schema markup index health & more
Define eBays role in AI-driven answer ecosystems by building and leading eBays AEO Strategy
Develop frameworks for optimizing structured data content signals and entity authority for LLM discoverability
Ensure strong presence within:
Google AI Overview
ChatGPT
Gemini
Emerging AI search and answer platforms
Build strategies for featured snippets conversational answers and generative summaries
Establish measurement systems to track visibility and traffic impact from AI answer engines
Partner with brand content and structured data teams to strengthen eBays entity authority and knowledge graph presence
Build and mentor a high-performing team of global SEO product managers data scientists and analysts
What You Will Bring:
10 years of experience in SEO organic growth or search strategy 4 years leading large-scale SEO programs at enterprise or marketplace companies
Deep expertise in technical SEO at scale (large site architecture programmatic SEO structured data crawl optimization)
Experience optimizing for:
Featured snippets
Voice search
Conversational interfaces
AI answer surfaces
Strong analytical proficiency with tools such as Google Search Console Conductor Ahrefs SEMrush and emerging AI visibility tools
