Job Summary
As an Analyst for our Laboratory Science team located at the Senneville site you will be involved in the analysis of samples using various techniques to evaluate the safety of a compound.
In this role the main responsibilities of an analytical chemistry analyst will include:
- Performing various analytical techniques on the substances to be tested enabling the identification and quantification as well as the verification of different parameters.
- Working collaboratively with scientific staff.
- Performing these analyses using high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and spectrometry.
In this role the main responsibilities of abioanalytical Analyst will include:
- Conduct technical assays using various extraction techniques (protein precipitate extraction solid phase extraction) and LC-MS/MS to quantify molecules of interest in compliance with the Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and FDA regulations
- Handle and analyze biological samples
- Validate the analysis of samples in a multidisciplinary laboratory using a variety of extraction techniques manual assays automated equipment and analytical instruments
- Work closely with the Scientific team.
In this role the main responsibilities of a biomarkers will include:
- Perform sample analysis based on a variety of immunoassays and enzyme assays such as ELISA Luminex radioimmunonalysis ECL MSC technology Simoa technology and Simple Protein ELLA
- Oversee method development and perform validation and data analysis to determine if results are as expected in compliance with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP).
In this role the main responsibilities of agenetic toxicology analyst will include:
- Perform the following techniques:
- Bacterial Mutation Test (BMT)
- Chromosome Aberration Test (CAT)
- InVitro Micronucleus (IVM)
- Mammalian Cell Mutation Test (MCM)
- Micronucleus Test (MNT) Comet Assay
- Cytotoxicity Test and Mode of Action Assay (MOA)
- Analysis of bacterial or cell cultures; manipulation of animal organs
- GLP-compliant collection and processing of analytical data
- Documentation of activities and data processing
- Work in collaboration with scientific staff
Key Elements
If you have the following qualifications we will train you for the rest:
- Holder of an AEC a DEC or a BAC in Laboratory Sciences;
- Ability to work under time constraints;
- Ability to adapt to changes;
- Detail oriented.
Role Specific Information
- Location: 22022 route Transcanadienne Senneville QC H9X 1C1;
- Transportation: We offer a free shuttle service from the Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue train station and John Abbott College to the Senneville site. Free parking. Electric vehicle charging station;
- Salary: 2350$/hrs;
- Annual bonus based on performance;
- Schedule: Monday to Friday 8am to 4:15pm. Depending on business needs you may have to do overtime;
- Permanent full-time position as of the hiring 37.5hrs per week

About Safety Assessment
Charles River is committed to helping our partners expedite their preclinical drug development with exceptional safety assessment services state-of-the-art facilities and expert regulatory guidance.
