Johnson & Johnson in Colombia is recruiting a Medical Affairs Intern based in Bogotá Colombia.

Medical Affairs plays a critically important role within our organization supporting the development of futureready medical strategies enabling medical adoption upon approval driving robust evidencegeneration plans optimizing the communication of scientific data and serving as a trusted scientific partner and expert reference.
Within the Medical Affairs organization the Medical Excellence team leads strategic activities focused on:
Identifying and developing clinical studies in Colombia Peru and Ecuador;
Implementing global and regional policies within local operations;
Ensuring consistent standards of quality and frequency in field interactions across all therapeutic areas;
Providing support for Medical Affairs activities including scientific medical information content submissions.
Key Responsibilities:
The intern will support Medical Affairs and Clinical Operations through the execution of strategic and operational activities including but not limited to:
1. Act as a key liaison between clinical research sites and the company (SRL) ensuring effective communication and coordination.
2. Provide operational support for Clinical Operations newsletters contributing to content organization and dissemination.
3. Support and participate in monthly governance meetings related to the clinical studies model in nonprioritized research countries including followup and updates on ongoing clinical trials.
4. Manage the review and retrieval of clinical trial support documentation through the VIPER platform ensuring accuracy and compliance.
5. Develop Medical Affairs support materials including checklists reference documents and internal knowledge repositories.
6. Support evidence generation initiatives coordinating requests from Medical Management across therapeutic areas.
7. Participate in fieldbased activities including observation and support of 1:1 scientific interactions led by MSLs and MSLDEs in alignment with compliance standards.
8. Analyze and interpret scientific insights assessing stakeholder reactions to scientific messaging and supporting insight mobilization across the adoption lifecycle.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a degree in Medicine Pharmaceutical Chemistry or a related field.
Required:
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word tools.
Strong communication organizational skills and a proactive attitude.
