Onsite: This role is categorized as onsite. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the Charlotte Technical Centre in Concord NC on a full-time basis.
The Role
We are seeking a Motorsports Aero Senior Software Engineer to join the Aero Innovation team within the Motorsports Aerodynamic Department. In this role you will drive the technical vision strategy and execution of the UI/UX for our internal Aero Platform. Youll focus primarily on frontend development in React while also contributing across the full stack to build a fast intuitive and reliable user experience.
A key part of this position is transforming complex aerodynamic data into clear accessible userfriendly tools for engineers across multiple programs. Youll collaborate with software engineers aero engineers IT and other crossfunctional partners to ensure the platform is scalable performant and built on bestpractice engineering standards.

What Youll Do
- Design and develop the overall UI/UX for the Motorsports Aero SaaS platform
- Help define the technical roadmap and align it with program and business goals
- Optimize frontend performance and user experience
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to integrate components modules and thirdparty APIs
- Work closely with GM IT and engineering groups to ensure scalability reliability and adherence to best practices
What Youll Need (Required Qualifications)
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field of study
- 710 years of experience as a software engineer or similar role
- Advanced knowledge of React JavaScript and TypeScript
- Fullstack development experience including RESTful and/or GraphQL API design and consumption
- Handson experience building backend services in C# / Core
- Strong understanding of modern software architectures methodologies and design patterns
- Experience with cloud platforms
- Familiarity with CI/CD testing frameworks and monitoring tools
- Proven ability to maintain and debug production software
What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience with Microsoft Azure technologies (AKS Azure SQL etc.)
- Advanced fullstack experience with C# Core and modern frontend tooling (Webpack Vite React Query etc.)
- Experience with realtime data visualization performancesensitive UIs or dataheavy dashboards
- Motorsports or racing experience or strong interest in highperformance engineering
