Job Summary
Beloit College invites applications for an adjunct or clinical professor to teach two courses during the 2026-27 academic year. The successful candidate will hold a Ph.D. clinical degree or A.B.D in kinesiology exercise sciences or related field. The courses will contribute to the colleges new major in Kinesiology and will include a lecture course on Foundations of Kinesiology in the fall and a Biomechanics or other intermediate or advanced lab course related to kinesiology or exercise science in the spring. All STEM courses at Beloit are inquiry-based stress scientific principles and experimental methods and engage students in the design performance analysis and communication of results of research projects.
This position is an excellent opportunity to teach in the new School of Health Sciences alongside departments nationally known for innovative pedagogy. The visiting faculty member will receive individualized mentoring from members of the School of Health Sciences faculty as well as opportunities to pursue professional development as both a teacher and scholar. Over the last 25 years multiple visiting faculty members in STEM departments at Beloit College have secured tenure-track positions at colleges and universities.
