Job Summary
In this pivotal role you will be responsible for driving the strategic vision and technical roadmap for our innovative tax product suite. You will lead a dynamic team of Product Managers collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to translate complex tax requirements into robust scalable and secure software solutions. Your expertise in product management will be instrumental in delivering products that not only meet but exceed customer expectations. As a thought leader in the tax technology domain you will foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within your team. You will mentor and develop technical talent encouraging them to push boundaries and embrace innovative approaches to solving complex tax challenges.

About the team
The Finance Technology Tax team builds technology to support Amazons global tax teams (our customers). Our customers need to ensure that Amazon is compliant with the increasingly complex tax regulations. We build systems to enable our customers to perform tax functions including calculations payments filing tax audits and recovery at the scale demanded by Amazons business operations. We prioritize solutions based on our ability to deliver exponential value in the following four dimensions: 1) supporting business growth while reducing cost to serve 2) ensuring compliance and reducing risk 3) improving customer experience and 4) providing accurate complete and timely data.
- 10 years of product or program management product marketing business development or technology experience
- 6 years of team management experience
- Bachelors degree
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience delivering consumer software products and services in a high growth environment

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
