Job Description:

The Role: Incoming Quality Engineer The Incoming Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all incoming materials components and outsourced parts meet the required specifications and quality standards before they are released to production. This role drives material quality assurance incoming inspection strategies supplier performance improvement and effective non conformance management. The Incoming Quality Engineer works closely with suppliers cross functional engineering teams and warehouse/incoming inspection teams to maintain consistent reliable and defect free materials for Youll Do:Lead and manage incoming inspection processes for raw materials components and externally manufactured inspection plans sampling plans and acceptance criteria based on engineering drawings specifications and risk material disposition for nonconforming items and drive timely resolution through MRB (Material Review Board).Investigate incoming quality issues and work closely with suppliers to implement corrective and preventive actions (8D RCA 5 Why Ishikawa).Develop and maintain material specifications inspection standards and quality control incoming quality data and monitor supplier performance through KPIs such as PPM DPPM defect trends and response qualification of new suppliers materials and components through PPAP FAI and validation collaboratively with Purchasing Supplier Quality Engineering and Manufacturing to drive improvements in material quality and process audits on suppliers and inspection processes where compliance with ISO IATF or internal quality management We Seek:Strong understanding of quality engineering principles inspection methods and measurement to interpret complex engineering drawings GD&T and material -on working knowledge of metrology instruments (CMM smart scopes calipers micrometers hardness testers etc.).Skilled in troubleshooting material defects performing rootcause analysis and implementing structured corrective analytical mindset with ability to analyze data identify trends and present communicator able to coordinate with suppliers and internal crossfunctional detailoriented and capable of managing multiple incoming quality issues Candidates Will Have:Experience with incoming inspection in semiconductor automotive electronics or precision with supplier quality tools (APQP PPAP FAI PFMEA Control Plans).Knowledge of statistical tools such as SPC MSA Cp/Cpk analysis sampling plans (ANSI/ASQ Z1.4) and riskbased quality such as ASQ CQE CQA Six Sigma Green Belt/Black working directly with global suppliers to drive quality to develop digital inspection workflows or automation using vision systems or advanced We Offer:At Entegris we invest in providing opportunity to our employees and promote from within.
