Job Summary
Job Title: Hospice Nursing Supervisor (RN)
Location: Sandwich MA
Duration: 13 Weeks (Contract)
Schedule: Monday Friday 3:00 PM 11:00 PM
About the Role
Navitas Healthcare LLC is looking for an experienced Hospice RN Supervisor to lead clinical teams and ensure compassionate high-quality end-of-life care. This role combines leadership staff support and hands-on clinical guidance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily clinical operations and supervise RNs LPNs and Hospice Aides
- Manage patient admissions eligibility and care planning
- Review medications and ensure accurate reconciliation
- Support hiring onboarding and staff training
- Ensure compliance with all state federal and accreditation standards
- Provide guidance on pain and symptom management
- Lead interdisciplinary team meetings and coordinate care
Requirements
- Education: BSN required (Masters preferred)
- License: Active Massachusetts RN License
- Experience: 24 years in a supervisory role (hospice/home health preferred)
- Skills: Strong leadership communication and documentation skills
- Must pass medication administration assessment
