We are looking for a Childcare Practitioner to join us at Kidzone who can:
- Build warm trusting relationships with very young children.
- Use their own skills and experience within the setting.
- Create a safe calm and nurturing environment.
- Support childrens emotional development independence and early routines.
- Help every child can reach their full potential in developing a curiosity independence and a love of learning and in curiosity about the world.
- Have an inclusive approach that recognises the potential of all children.
- Have a good sense of humour and wants to be part of our amazing team.
- Enjoy the opportunity to possibly work between both settings.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Setting up engaging continuous provision.
- Use skills to work with children between 6 months and 11 years old.
- Supporting high-quality play and exploration.
- Modelling language communication and positive interactions.
- Helping children explore investigate and problem-solve.
- Demonstrating respect courage and compassion.
- Helping to foster a welcoming inclusive community where everyone feels valued.
- To be versatile with your approach when working across the wide age range of children within each session.
What will you need
Essential:
- A relevant level 3 or above in childcare.
- You must have at least 1 years experience in an early years environment.
- Good knowledge of the EYFS.
- Excellent communication skills.
Desirable:
- A driving licence.
- Up to date safeguarding training.
- Up to date Paediatric first aid training.
- A willingness to engage in continuous professional development.
Training will be given to successful candidates.
