Job Summary

The Role:
We are seeking an experienced LBP Qualified Builder to work across a wide range of practical and interesting building projects. This role suits a hands-on professional who enjoys problem-solving variety and responsibility and is comfortable working both independently and alongside skilled crews.

If youre tired of repetitive site work or want exposure to projects beyond standard new builds this could be an excellent opportunity. Youll be trusted to manage your workload supported by an experienced team and given the freedom to apply your skills with confidence.

About You:
Were looking for someone who brings sound judgment leadership and pride in their workmanship.

Ideally you will have one or more of the following:

A current LBP licence

Proven experience as a qualified builder (residential experience essential)

Confidence working independently and making informed decisions on site

Strong knowledge of NZ building standards and Health & Safety practices

Willingness to travel for work including occasional overnight stays or night shifts

Physical fitness and comfort working outdoors in all conditions

Excellent communication and organisational skills

A reliable professional calm and practical attitude

Key Responsibilities:

Projects will include but are not limited to:

Supporting house removal crews with building works

Preparing and reinstating houses villas and bungalows for relocation

House repiling and lifting projects

Renovation and remediation work on relocated homes

New build and finishing work where required

Ensuring all work is completed safely efficiently and to a high standard
