This position is on-site 5 days a week at Charlotte BIC located at 5910-D Long Creek Park Drive Charlotte NC.
Job Responsbilities:
- Lead and supervisor mechanical team and daily maintenance tasks and project assignments.
- Implement creative solutions to reduce costs of materials components and labor.
- Ability to modify and fabricate parts
- Creae and update technical documents
- Prepare and maintain detailed techincal document in accordance with industry and company standards
- Promote safe behavior within the maintenance department.
- Effectively manage the training and development of skills knowledge and abilities within the technical group of the maintenance department.
- Assist with evaluating project or process requests for maintenance and facility matters
- Interacte with various internal and external customers to refer/resolve problems associated with assigned work activities
- Create reports on maintenance repairs safety and other occurenances for supervisors and other relevant staff
- Perform administrative and record keeping funtions but not limited to keys equipment and supplies
- Collect and complie data; evaluate project or proces requests; develop ad-hoc queries as requested by production team or management
Qualifications:
- Technical degreed preferred or related field / experience (minimum HS Dipolma)
- Proficiency in CAD Solidworks and AutoCAD
- Experience in creating 2D and 3D models
- 5 years of related experience
- Excellent knowledge of mechanical principles
- Must be flexible - We are 2nd shift operation with possibility of weekends.
- Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills and reasoning ability
- Ability to communicate effectively and clearly with upper management and team members
- Strong project mangagment mindset
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlinnes.
- Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with a wide range of professionals
