Job Summary

Trans Mountain Corporation operates Canadas only pipeline system transporting oil products to the West Coast. We deliver approximately 890000 barrels of petroleum products each day through a dual pipeline system of more than 1150 kilometres of pipeline in Alberta British Columbia and Washington state.

Trans Mountain also operates a state-of-the-art loading facility Westridge Marine Terminal with three berths providing tidewater access to global markets.

As a federal Crown corporation Trans Mountain continues to build on more than 70 years of experience delivering operational and safety excellence through our crude oil pipeline system.

With our expanded pipeline system now in place Trans Mountain provides enhanced direct access for Canadian crude oil to world markets. Trans Mountain is seeking a collaborative motivated and values-driven individual to join our dynamic team as a Senior Data & Reporting this position you will be responsible for designing managing and continuously improving reporting frameworks to ensure consistency clarity and actionable value for stakeholders as well as developing managing and continuously improving standardized reporting frameworks that ensure consistency clarity and actionable value across the organization. The successful candidate will support transparency facilitate informed decision-making and drive project performance by leveraging automation data visualization and advanced reporting tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain standardized reporting templates and processes aligned with governance frameworks to ensure consistency compliance and transparency.
  • Assist in the development of timely and accurate reports (monthly project reports status Cost progress risk resource) that meet the specific needs of stakeholders integrating performance metrics and data validation.
  • Facilitate reporting training sessions and support the adoption of reporting tools and governance standards across the organization.
  • Work with PMO and Project Stakeholders to define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) forecast metrics and support continuous performance evaluation and reporting automation.
  • Analyze and interpret report data to identify trends variances and improvement opportunities providing actionable insights to inform decision-making.
  • Coordinate with project teams and stakeholders to gather consolidate and validate reporting inputs on a recurring cycle actively managing timelines and following up across contributors to ensure timely and complete report delivery.

Qualifications and Professional Experience

  • Post secondary education in engineering Business Administration or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop performance metrics conduct trend analysis and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including facilitation and stakeholder engagement across crossfunctional teams.
  • Advanced proficiency in data visualization reporting and dashboard design (e.g. Power BI) including report automation and data analytics.
  • Experience working with project management systems and ERP platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to make sound datadriven decisions aligned with organizational priorities.
  • Highly organized and detailoriented with strong accuracy consistency and attention to quality in work products.
  • Proven ability to manage complexity ambiguity and shifting priorities while meeting deadlines in fastpaced environments.
  • Adaptable and resourceful with the ability to learn quickly troubleshoot issues and think critically.
  • Strong relationshipbuilding skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across all levels of the organization.
  • A committed team player who is willing to pitch in as needed to support team objectives and organizational success.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively within established standards and governance processes including adapting reporting approaches based on team and stakeholder needs even when personal preference may differ.
  • Maintains professionalism discretion and confidentiality at all times particularly when handling sensitive information.
