Hero Calling Financial Controller 6 Month Contract Hands-On Immediate Start

The Opportunity:

Calling all heroes (immediately available Financial Controllers / senior operators)....

Were working with a Perth-based industrial business to recruit a hands-on Financial Controller to step into a lean environment during a critical period.

This is a true roll-your-sleeves-up role owning the finance function end-to-end while staying close to the detail. Youll be responsible for keeping the engine running maintaining financial integrity and supporting the business through a ERP implementation whilst their current FC goes to support.

Core Technical Brief (no fluff):

Full ownership of month-end (journals reconciliations reporting)
Management reporting and board pack preparation
Budgeting forecasting and cashflow management
Balance sheet ownership and financial control
Audit and compliance support
Partnering with operations while still executing core accounting tasks

Needed:

Proven experience operating as a hands-on Financial Controller / senior finance lead
Comfortable working in a lean under-resourced environment
Strong ownership of month-end and reporting cycles
Ability to balance doing leading
Calm under pressure and able to stabilise a finance function

An ideal candidate will possess:

Experience stepping into challenging or turnaround environments
Strong financial control and reporting fundamentals
Confidence working autonomously with minimal structure
Ability to support stakeholders while staying in the detail
CA/CPA qualified
