Schedule: 5 days per week (40 hours)

Shift: Flex Shift (Mixed Days & Evenings)

7:00 AM 3:30 PM
3:00 PM 11:30 PM

Assignment Type: Contract / Assignment-Based - 13 Weeks

Position Summary

A healthcare facility is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to provide direct patient care in a long-term care setting. This role involves supervising nursing assistants and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care in compliance with established healthcare standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care and supervise nursing assistants
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Monitor patient conditions and promptly report any changes
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient documentation and records
Assist with patient admissions transfers and discharges
Perform clinical procedures such as wound care catheterization and tube feeding
Collect and handle specimens (blood urine sputum) for testing
Adhere to infection control and safety protocols
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams

Qualifications

Active unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) license in Massachusetts
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Current BLS/CPR certification required
Prior Long Term Care (LTC) experience preferred
Strong clinical communication and patient care skills
Ability to work flexible shifts
