About THE ROLE

The Solution Sales Managerfor BU Concuris responsible fororchestrating sales business development and partner management to accelerate growth adoption and customer satisfaction forSAPConcurin the market units CH and the CEE region. The right candidate must have a clear Cloud Mindset and must have proven (pre-) sales experience orchestrating a virtual team of diverse contributors towards a common goal driving a multi-million-euro subscription business and knowledge inSaaS sales and domain knowledge in the areas of our cloud intelligent suite and cloud solutions in general.

This position will report to the Concur MEE Head and serve as the external face of the MU and the region recognized as a thought leader by customers partners and market influencers. Responsible for accelerating the readiness for sales services and the partner ecosystem (GSSPs & VARs) executing local demand generation supporting/coaching large deals business development activities and identifying and solving bottlenecks leveraging local and regional resources across the Concur teams.

We are looking for a person with a leadership style thatblends strong personal and interpersonal skills forming the basis fora leaders ability toimpact influence and inspire within their organization and acrossindustries teams andLoBs. It is expected that the Solution Sales Manager will be adept at creating and nurturing executive relationships leading by example and personally driving the sales execution in the most strategic customers and for the most significant opportunities.

We would also appreciate adopting a transformational leadership style that fosters positive change and growth driving innovation and ultimately enhancingcustomer business success. Result-oriented enterprising and self-determined are fundamental requirements. The Solution Sales Manager Concur will be responsible for achieving the Concur Targets and driving end-to-end sales processes from demand generation to strategy development and scale initiatives resulting in a healthy pipeline and sales.

The position also serves as the primary contact for the following activities:

  • Participates in recruiting Performance Management 1:1 training and coaching of the Solution Sales Executives.

  • Drives the general professional development and career development of the agents within the team.

  • Manages theConcursales pipeline proactively to ensure attainment of the individual and group contributions to the established goals.

  • Participates in regular business review meetings or forecast calls

  • Provides feedback to Field Management on engagement level with theConcurSolution Sales Team

  • Assesses the overall performance of the team concerning theConcurgoals/KPIs and its revenue target

  • Works with marketing and field sales management to understand and implement initiatives with Solution Sales requirements.

  • Drives and coordinates with the field management team to develop pipeline revenue and demand management

  • Provides feedback on initiatives executed to enable continuous program improvement.

SKILLSET & EXPERIENCE

  • Senior sales management experience across the multicultural field and virtual teams.

  • Strong business acumen and an understanding of SAP Concur Strategy portfolio value proposition and Concur goals to translate these into high-impact actionable plans.

  • Exceptional relationship-building skills ability to collaborate& sellinternally to achieve the target.

  • Excellent understanding of complexSaaS sales processes anddemonstratedexperience inSaaS deals with complex customers

  • Preferably a strong network and understanding of cloud salesand delivery processes.

  • Exceptional oral and written executive communication skills.

  • Strong Management skills.

  • Passion to challenge improve and innovate at both a personal and organizational level.

Work Experience

  • Professional experience in Leading Sales with a large multi-national software/IT organizationwithdemonstratedexpertiseinCloud BusinessApplications.

  • Demonstrated success in driving SaaS sales to Swiss clients consistently exceeding expectations and delivering results.

  • SAP product experience and/or 8-15 yearspriorrelevant solution sales/business development experience preferably in theConcurdomain.

  • Knowledge of Sales Operations and proven success in leading Demand Management efforts.

  • Viewed as a sales expert across SAP capable ofleveragingan extensive network to craft impactful demand plans resulting in pipeline and revenue growth.

  • Proventrack recordof driving business results.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills inGermanandEnglish both written and spokenare mandatory.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum aBachelors Degreeor Equivalent.

  • MBA or Equivalent Degree Strongly Preferred.
