SEASONAL MAINTENANCE WORKER
Part-time Seasonal Position through the Canada Summer Jobs program
(Approx. 8-12 weeks). $17.60 CAD per hour
Full G drivers license and personal automobile insurance preferred.

The Seasonal Maintenance Worker provides general maintenance service on a daily basis. They will interact with management employees and people who use our services and will foster a positive environment. The Seasonal Maintenance Worker is responsible for assisting with minor repairs and maintenance under the direction of the Property Maintenance Coordinator and independently completing tasks related to yard maintenance. They will assist with the repairs for multiple programs including some that require only occasional service.
The Seasonal Maintenance Worker will respect and uphold the Values Vision and Mission of Karis Disability Services demonstrating the highest standards of courtesy and respect in their dealings with other employees people using services and both internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Police Check
- 1 Year related experience
- High school diploma
- Eligibility for the Canada Summer Jobs program includes the requirement for candidates to be between 18 and 30 years of age and be either a Canadian citizen permanent resident or refugee.
Preferred:
- Full G drivers license and personal automobile insurance
