Job Summary
Contract: Permanent
This position can be based in Somaglia (LO) Pozzuolo Martesana (MI) or Passo Corese (RI) with a full-time permanent contract (working hours 9:00 AM6:00 PM) and 1 day of remote working per week.
This position is responsible for the design and development of warehousing and distribution solutions tailored to meet customer needs. The role involves analyzing complex customer order profiles operational workflows storage requirements equipment specifications labor needs and product characteristics.
The position is accountable for developing pricing models and collaborating with internal stakeholders to define project requirements. It utilizes the Logistics Engineering Analysis Package (LEAP) system to assess total costs (including direct and indirect costs) ensure optimal revenue generation and support the implementation of new business initiatives.
Working cross-functionally with teams such as Business Development and Operations this role contributes to the creation of cost-effective Supply Chain Solutions (SCS) pricing models aimed at securing new business opportunities and driving profitable growth. The position also involves direct interaction with customers to assess their requirements and propose appropriate solutions.
Additionally the role includes the preparation of business proposals responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and the development of clear and comprehensive technical documentation.
Responsibilities:
Synthesizes customer data and solutions needs.
Generates and analyzes warehousing and distribution pricing models.
Participates in internal and external solutions reviews.
Writes technical documents and responses.
Leads team process improvement initiatives.
Works with the project managers to identify customer business requirements.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of Italian Language (C1/C2)
Knowledge of English Language (B2/C1/C2)
Experience in IE or Supply Chain Solution Design and Development
Bachelors Degree in Industrial Engineering Logistics Business Administration or related field
Experience using Microsoft products (Access & Excel)
Understanding of Warehouse Management System (WMS) design and functionality
Demonstrates a detailed understanding of supply chain concepts; makes recommendations for changes to solve supply chain problems
Demonstrates a working knowledge of physical asset design; identifies problems or issues with current physical assets; modifies or adjusts existing physical asset designs; recommends physical asset specifications
Identifies routine work methods/processes/flows to analyze; describes in general terms process capability studies; describes the basic steps in analysis of data related to people technology or information
