Job Summary
Are you a Civil Engineer with a desire to further your career We are looking for a Civil Engineer while offering a full-time position. This is a great opportunity for a civil engineer who not only wants to better themselves professionally but personally too!!
As a Civil Engineer your responsibilities are for ensuring the successful delivery of quality projects from start to finish. Reporting to the Project Manager you will play a key role in driving the technical quality and engineering aspects of projects ensuring they are completed on time within budget and to the highest standards.
What youll be doing;
- Manage the day-to-day site operations including supervising construction activities monitoring progress and addressing any issues that may arise
- Interpret and implement engineering designs drawings and specifications to ensure the project is delivered to the required standards
- Liaise with clients subcontractors and other stakeholders to coordinate activities and resolve any concerns
- Conduct site inspections identify potential risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies
- Prepare progress reports documentation and technical documentation as required
- Contribute to the development and implementation of project management plans and procedures
- Ensure compliance with relevant safety environmental and quality regulations
What were looking for;
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related discipline
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar civil engineering site role
- Strong understanding of construction methods materials and equipment
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings specifications and technical documents
- Excellent problem-solving decision-making and critical thinking skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects and competing priorities
- Familiarity with relevant safety environmental and quality regulations
