Job Description:
L3Harris is seeking a Systems Engineering Manager that will be involved in activities directly related to the management of a team of experienced system engineers. Will be required to lead a team of system engineers through the development lifecycle including requirements analysis system architecture design hardware and software integration and verification and validation activities related to ELINT Airborne Systems.
Essential Functions:
- Communicates within and outside of the organization to influence leadership to accept new practices approaches and concepts
- Manages the implementation of functional strategies and recommends operational plans that directly impact the ELINT Systems department goals
- Manages the experienced professionals of the ELINT Systems department
- Responsible for creating workforce and staffing plans for the ELINT Systems department to ensure availability of human capital necessary to accomplish departmental business goals
- Has hiring firing promotion and compensation authority within the ELINT Development Systems organization
- Communicates with parties within and outside of the organization which includes large customers and vendors
- Works to influence others to accept new practices concepts and approaches
- Requires ability to communicate and influence leadership regarding matters of substantial importance to the ELINT Systems department
- Responsible for improving upon existing processes or establishing new processes and systems
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience.
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience.
- In lieu of a degree minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
- Active DoD Secret Clearance(with ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance).
- Demonstrated experience with JIRA & confluence associated with integration and testing.
- Demonstrated experience leading and establishing guidance across diverse teams.
- Demonstrated experience in design development and/or testing of ELINT RF Antenna systems.

- IRAD and Technical Baseline development/management
