POSITION TITLE: Sales Director

BUSINESS UNIT: CFT (An ATS Company)

DEPARTMENT: Sales & Business Development

LOCATION: United States (Chicago) possible work from remote but with regular visit to the office

REPORTS TO: Global Sales Director / VP Commercial Martino Pozzi

CLASSIFICATION: Exempt

TRAVEL REQUIREMENT: 60% Domestic & International

CFT S.p.A. is an Italian company based in Parma and a global supplier of processing and packaging technologies for the food and beverage industry. Founded in 1945 CFT designs and manufactures complete production lines and advanced machinery for products such as tomato derivatives sauces fruit vegetables dairy and beverages serving customers worldwide with innovative efficient and sustainable solutions.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Director CFT US is responsible for the overall commercial leadership and business performance of CFT in the United States with direct accountability for sales growth customer relationships and market development. The role owns approximately USD 10M in annual CAPEX sales and USD 3M in After Sales and Service revenue.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Own and deliver US sales bookings revenue and margin targets.

Develop and execute the US commercial strategy aligned with global objectives.

Lead complex CAPEX sales negotiations including NDAs contracts and service agreements.

Manage pipeline forecasting accuracy and CRM discipline.

Drive market diversification and new customer development.

Grow After Sales business including service contracts upgrades and spare parts.

Coordinate with global engineering project management and service teams.

Monitor financial performance margins and commercial risk.

Provide regular performance reporting and KPI tracking.

Lead and develop commercial and service resources.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors degree in Engineering Business or related field.

Minimum 10 years B2B capital equipment sales experience preferably in food and beverage.

Proven CAPEX sales leadership background.

Strong commercial negotiation and financial skills.

Experience in international matrix organizations.
