Job Summary
About this role
As an Investment Associate you willbe responsible forsupporting infrastructure equity investments acrossAPACregion.
In this role you will provide critical support across all aspects of the investment lifecycle including:
Financial Analysis: You will undertake the evaluation of new infrastructure equity investment opportunities including performing complex financial modellingvaluationand sensitivity analysis.
Due diligence: You will support the team conducting thorough due diligence including commercial operational financial / tax and legal reviewsquantification of commercial risks through sensitivity analysis and stress testing under various assumptions.
Investmentmemos: You willassistin the preparation of investment memos presentations and reports to support decision-making processes. This includes research and analysis of market trends industrydevelopmentsand macroeconomic factors that mayimpactinvestment performance.
Deal execution: You will provide support during the deal execution process including documentation and coordination with advisors
Portfoliomanagement: You willassistin the ongoing monitoring of portfolio assets (including supporting management teams) and conduct routine valuation activities
Investorrelations: You will support the preparation of investor presentations quarterlyupdatesand annual reports
Required Experience:
3 to 5years of experience in investment banking corporate advisory privateequityor infrastructure investments
Previousexperience working on infrastructure investments (e.g.energy / renewables transportation utilities digital) is highly desirable
Strong financial modelling skills (including an ability to model complex capital structures associated with infrastructure business) as well as experience with various valuation techniques (DCF trading comparables precedent transactions)
Strong attention to detail with the ability to work in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Strong familiarity with VBA is highly desirable.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Business Japanese language skillsas this role includes direct engagement with clients and third party locally in Japan.
