We are looking for an Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) who shares our values of empathy respect honesty integrity compassion trust adaptability agility and personcentred practice. You will join an experienced and supportive team where teamwork and wellbeing are central to how we work.
Our Mental Health team provides social care interventions for people who meet the threshold for secondary mental health support. We work closely with AWP and adult social care teams across Wiltshire ensuring that every person is treated with dignity fairness and compassion.
As an AMHP you will complete urgent assessments for adults with suspected social care needs ensuring people and their carers are protected from harm. You will respond to referrals undertake duty work and provide supervision to students or unqualified staff. Your approach will show integrity empathy and sound professional judgement even in complex situations.
Working arrangements include 3-4 days within the Mental Health team and 1-2 days on the AMHP hub rota.
To apply you must be a registered AMHP with relevant experience in mental health or adult care and strong knowledge of the Mental Health Act mental capacity safeguarding and wider social care legislation. You will be committed to personcentred respectful and compassionate practice contributing positively to a collaborative and valuesdriven team.
This position comes with a 12.5% market supplement payment. All market supplement payments are subject to review on an annual basis.
