We have a fantastic opportunity for a Product Manager to join our AI Centre of Excellent team within our Group Data & AI Office. The role holder will be responsible for identifying shaping and delivering AI-driven initiatives that create tangible business value. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in Royal Londons AI journey helping define strategy build momentum and scale value across the business.
About the role:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritise AI opportunities aligned with strategic business goals.
- Translate high-level opportunities into clear hypotheses experiment plans and testable MVPs or Proofs of Value.
- Lead cross-functional teams (Data Science Engineering SMEs Ops etc.) through the end-to-end product lifecycle from discovery and validation to delivery and measurement.
- Apply lean product principles to iterate quickly test assumptions and validate impact.
- Act as the voice of the customer and business throughout the product development process.
- Maintain strong stakeholder relationships and provide regular updates to senior leaders on product vision progress risks and outcomes.
- Ensure ethical responsible and explainable use of AI in product development.
- Support in building a product-led mindset within the AI Centre of Excellence and the broader organisation.
About you:
- Proven experience as a Product Manager or similar role ideally in a technology data or AI-focused environment.
- Strong experience working in lean agile teams to define and test hypotheses rapidly.
- Ability to distil complex business challenges into clear problems and testable outcomes.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including data scientists engineers and subject matter experts.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence engage and keep senior stakeholders informed.
- Skilled at writing and maintaining clear artefacts roadmaps OKRs dashboards and product documentation.
