Are you our new Service Desk Accountant

As a Service Desk Accountant at Intrum in Athens you will have the opportunity to be part of a highly dynamic team specialized in delivering high-end accounting services. As a Service Desk Specialist will be responsible for processing all Account Payable inquiries submitted from internal and external customers while ensuring that an exceptional service experience is provided.

What will you do :

• Provide support regarding payments queries e.g.: payment date invoice or employee expense status

• Provide advice on expense processes and deal with any queries in an efficient and timely manner

• Manage and verify Travel and expense claims

• Establish a good relationship with customers maintaining open communication channels and developing high standards for service delivery

• Perform vendor and employee card reconciliations

• Provide support to other team members and establish a good interdepartmental communication

• Operate under agreed KPIs and Service Partnership Agreements to deliver the highest quality of service as defined by the team manager in conjunction with the business units

• Ensure that all process controls are operational actively identifying control gaps and recommend possible solutions

• Provide input to the respective Team for the continuous improvement process

What we are looking for :

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Business Administration or other relevant discipline

• Excellent verbal / written communication skills (English speaking required)

• Strong focus in providing the highest level of customer service to both internal and external customers

• Punctuality flexibility and a sense of urgency

• Able to perform root-cause analysis and come up with suggested solutions

• Positive attitude and ability to cope with new initiatives

• Team-player with the ability to interact effectively with different stakeholders at all levels

Its a plus if you bring :

• Knowledge of German French Spanish or any other European languages

• Knowledge of Workday Navision Exflow accounting system
