We are currently seeking a Network Engineer to support operations in Quantico VA. This is a full-time position requiring an active DoD Top Secret clearance.
What Youll Do
You will:
- Provide network engineering administration and cybersecurity support for multi-classification networks and infrastructure
- Create virtualized environments to support test events ensure operational readiness and troubleshoot issues during execution.
- Administer network systems: apply patches harden systems review logs.
- Support RMF compliance activities including documentation and vulnerability analysis.
- Integrate server and virtual hosting technologies into secure network architecture.
- What Youll Bring
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in IT Cybersecurity or a related field (ABET/CAE-accredited) OR 5 years experience in network design infrastructure and security
- Technical
- Hands-on experience configuring routers switches firewalls
- Experience applying STIGs IAVA compliance and DoD cybersecurity policies.
- Familiarity with RMF network segmentation and defense-in-depth design.
- Familiarity with virtualized networking infrastructure and Software Defined Networking (SDN)
- Preferred (Nice to have)
- Working knowledge of LAN/WAN architecture VPN security PKI and common attack vectors.
- Familiarity with Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) tools and traffic analysis.
- Experience supporting DoD environments
- Must have a current and active DoD Top Secret security clearance.
- Proficient with modern IT tools and infrastructure technologies
- Some overnight stays possible.

Office setting:
- Full time onsite role on USMC Base Quantico in Quantico VA
- Standard desk/computer work with flexibility for walking and movement on site
- Must be able to work in an office environment sitting at a desk looking at a computer for most of the workday.
- Work is physically comfortable; the employee has discretion about sitting walking standing etc.
- May be required to travel short distances to offices/conference rooms and buildings on site.
- Employment is contingent upon successful background investigation
- Alcohol and Drug screening may be required for federal contract compliance
