Shaw Commercial is a global design leader in commercial flooring design delivering innovative solutions for some of the worlds most creative/dynamic environments. Our commercial brand portfolio and expansive product offerings provide insight-driven solutions across the workplace education healthcare senior living hospitality and multi-family spaces.
We are looking for a proactive self-starter who is organized curious a strong communicator and connector who can manage multiple projects at a single time within a fast-paced organization. With over 500 account executives across our commercial brands the Design Services department provides design solutions for our flooring in collaboration with our account executives and their customers. Our ideal candidate will be someone who wants to learn about many areas of our business. We are seeking a candidate who continuously challenges the status quo and brings new thoughts and ideas to provide the best solution for our clients. Thisrole isbased in Cartersville GA with a minimum of 3 daysin office.
Responsibilities:
Architectural & Design Document Interpretation
Analyze and interpret architectural plans schematic design documents and redlined revisions to accurately translate design intent into conceptual drawings and visualization outputs.
Concept & Visualization Development
Create highquality 2D and 3D visualizations that bring design concepts to life accurately reflecting architecture product applications and customer needs. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent onbrand deliverables.
Presentation & Documentation Creation
Create installation guides layout standards and supporting documentation that accompany renderings ensuring clarity usability and alignment with brand guidelines.
Project Coordination & CrossFunctional Collaboration
Partner closely with Project Manager and internal teams to support project flow meet timelines and maintain strong working relationships across departments and with external customers.
Customer & Internal Partner Support
Provide exceptional customer service by supporting sales executives internal stakeholders and clients with responsive communication and accurate visual solutions.
Trend Awareness & Product Knowledge
Stay current on market trends competitive offerings and evolving company product lines to enhance design relevance and strategic insight.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree of Interior Design or Interior Architecture from a CIDA accredited college/university and/or Architecture from a NAAB accredited college/university or equivalent experience
Minimum 3 yearsof interior designorarchitectureexperience
ProficiencyinMicrosoft 365 Adobe Creative Suite (proficient in Photoshop) Revit and AutoCAD
Thisrole isbased in Cartersville GA with a minimum of 3 daysin office.
