We are hiring for our client a prominent manufacturing organisation based in Ballymena. Our client is seeking an experienced and results-driven Financial Controller to oversee the financial management across various sectors and geographical operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving financial performance cost optimisation compliance and internal controls.

The Role:
Prepare and deliver consolidated financial reports variance analysis and KPIs to senior management
Lead the annual budgeting and rolling forecast processes to support business growth initiatives
Manage cost and inventory controls while optimising profitability and margins
Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations and oversee monthly accounting close processes
Collaborate with operational teams to drive financial discipline and support capital investment projects
Mentor and lead the finance team to ensure a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
Drive process improvements including automating reporting tasks and rolling out new financial systems
The Person:
ACA/ACCA/CPA or equivalent qualification
Proven experience in financial reporting budgeting and cost management within a manufacturing or similar environment
Strong leadership skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Experience with ERP systems with a focus on process improvements
Knowledge of HMRC compliance VAT PAYE and corporation tax
