Job Overview
Marvin Composites in Fargo ND is hiring a Production Manager to support our Extrusion facility. As a Production Manager youll lead the overall direction of the operation setting the tone for safety quality and team performance. This role is focused on building a strong culture while ensuring production runs safely efficiently and on schedule.
Youll stay closely connected to the operations supporting supervisors and teams addressing day-to-day challenges and keeping priorities aligned as needs shift. Success in this role comes from steady leadership sound decision making and the ability to keep people and processes moving forward.
Highlights of your role
- Lead daily production operations to deliver product safely on time and within efficiency and cost targets
- Support a strong safety culture by ensuring safe equipment operation achieving and maintaining an injury-free workplace and supporting VPP efforts
- Develop and lead a strong team through clear expectations coaching and consistent follow-through
- Execute the production schedule in partnership with planning adjusting for staffing equipment and material availability
- Drive consistent use of standard work while identifying opportunities to improve processes and reduce waste
- Monitor quality work-in-process(WIP) and inventory to ensure accuracy organization and flow of materials

- Approach challenges with a practical solution-focused mindset
Also want to make sure you have
- Bachelors degree in business technical field or related field (preferred)
- At least five years of manufacturing experience including two or more years in a leadership role
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement principles
