Catering & Events Sales Manager, Crowne Plaza Changi Airport
Job Summary
As an Catering & Event Sales Manager youll sell activities and events (seminars weddings social dinners etc..) in line with annual sales and marketing plan achieve/exceed budget and sales strategy and monitor results to ensure they are achieved.
A little taste of your day-to-day
Every day is different but youll mostly be:
- Maintain regular contact with IHG hotels in Singapore and regional reservation office
- Assist superior in managing all employee related matters such as recruiting counselling and coaching
- Build rapport and strong relations with employees
- Entertain clients and provide proper customer service
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients business generators meeting and convention planners corporate accounts and other producers closely allied to our hotel
- Plan and conduct familiarization tours and site inspections
- Assist superior in the preparation and management of departments budget including monitoring of departmental costs and inputting into annual budget and sales and marketing plan
Convert leads to business to achieve budget for Catering Sales
What do we need from you
Ideally you have at least 2 years of experience managing Catering & Event Sales. You have at least a Diploma qualification and is a self driven individual who has strong knowledge of the local business.
