Engineering Manager - B2B SaaS - Fintech- Permanent Opportunity
My client is looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a team and play a key role in delivering scalable high-impact platform capabilities.
This is a leadership role where you will shape the day to day operations and implement best practice to an organizationundergoing an exciting modernization journey.

Day to day:
- Coach and support Technical Leads helping them grow as leaders and strengthen overall team capability
- Create a high-performance culture that values accountability collaboration and continuous improvement
- Partner closely with Product and Delivery to align priorities manage trade-offs and deliver customer value
- Improve delivery predictability through clear planning visibility and effective execution practices
- Ensure strong engineering discipline across teams including architecture testing CI/CD and scalable design
- Proactively identify and manage delivery risks in complex fast-moving environments
- Contribute to both the strategic direction of the platform and the day-to-day effectiveness of engineering teams
Ideal skills:
- Experience leading engineering teams in a SaaS platform or product environment
- A strong track record of building and developing high-performing teams and Technical Leads
- Solid understanding of modern engineering practices (Agile CI/CD automated testing scalable architectures)
- Ability to translate strategy into clear execution plans and drive consistent delivery outcomes
- Confidence working cross-functionally with Product Delivery and other stakeholders
- Experience navigating competing priorities trade-offs and technical complexity
- A pragmatic outcome-focused mindset with strong commercial awareness
