The Opportunity
The OpportunityLounsbury Heavy-Duty Truck Centre in Moncton is looking for a Shipper/Receiver and Parts Runner to work in the Parts Department.
This is a full-time position. The hours of work are Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm.

Responsibilities - Make sure the shipments that are going out are accurate (going to the right place)
- Perform physical inventory regularly to ensure all stock levels are accurate on the system
- Decide what is the best way to ship something (ground air etc)
- Prepare bills of lading invoices and other shipping documents
- Assemble containers and crates in the Parts area: keep it clean and organized
- Inspect packages when they arrive and make sure there is no damage if there is make arrangements to send it back and get a new order
- Pack goods to be shipped and unpack goods received
- Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents (we want to make sure we received the right stuff)
- Must be willing to learn how to drive a forklift
Qualifications - High School diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a parts department inventory or shipping and receiving is an asset
- Ability to perform repetitive heavy lifting (up to 50lbs)
- Keeps their work area very clean and organized
- Reacts quickly to getting a task done; has a strong sense of urgency
- Excellent listening and communication skills
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team
- Must be comfortable using a computer and email
