In one sentence
We operate a cloud based solution running on Kubernetes composed of multiple microservices implementing complex business logic in Java. The System Integration Engineer will help maintain configure and evolve this production solution by participating in the full lifecycle of customer demandsincluding requirements review with clients configuration adjustments software development test execution and orchestration of production deployments.
What will your job look like
You will configure integrate customize and maintain Amdocs software solutions in customer environments ensuring high quality and alignment with business requirements.
You will analyze customer needs gather and validate requirements and translate them into configuration or development tasks.
You will troubleshoot issues across microservices logs interfaces and cloud infrastructure providing fixes or workarounds as needed.
You will participate in integration testing validating system behavior end to end and ensuring stable deployments.
You will support production deployments including coordinating changes and performing occasional evening activities for customer releases.
You will collaborate with cross functional teams (Product R&D Architects DevOps and Customer teams) to deliver high quality integrated solutions.
You will follow Amdocs engineering standards to ensure the solution remains maintainable scalable and resilient.
You will be encouraged to seek continuous improvement innovation and automation across integration and delivery processes.
You will work in a customer facing environment demonstrating strong communication ownership and professionalism.
All you need is...
Bachelors degree in Science IT Computing Engineering or equivalent
24 years of experience as a Software Engineer or System Integrator
Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken)
Required Technical Skills
Strong Java development skills
Experience with microservices architecture (SBA Service Based Architecture)
Hands on experience with Kubernetes and containerized solutions
Experience in software integration or implementation in cloud environments
Ability to perform solution design requirements analysis configuration and customization
Strong backend troubleshooting and problem solving abilities
Soft Skills
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
Excellent communication comfortable interacting with customers
Proactive mindset and eagerness to learn complex systems
Ability to collaborate across global cross functional teams
Ownership accountability and professional maturity
Preferred Skills
Experience with telecom systems such as Policy (PCRF) Charging (OCS) or Mediation
Python / Shell scripting
Experience with Git version control
Linux user or administration experience
Experience with Kafka message streaming
Experience with Elasticsearch
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and/or Ansible
Ability to write basic SQL queries
