Job Summary
Responsible for various short/long term projects to gather and analyze data required for efficient design/processing of forgings for seamless rolled rings and open and closed die forgings.
Essential Functions
- Participate as a multidisciplinary engineering team member
- Assist with the design development integration and testing of projects
- Assist with the documentation of data specifications and spreadsheets
- Participate in the QA/QC process of projects
- Provide technical support to assigned team/ department
- Comply with PCC Code of Conduct Requirements
- Complete a cost improvement project
Minimum Education (or substitute experience) required
- Actively enrolled in an Engineering four-year degree program- minimum second-year students
- Mechanical/Manufacturing/Materials/Aerospace related degrees preferred
Skills Required
- Must have excellent mathematical analytical problem solving and organizations skills
- Possess a strong technical aptitude along with the ability to work independently
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Proficient in PC programs including Microsoft Office
- Ability to interact with all levels of personnel in cross-functional
Additional Requirements
- This position requires 20 hours per week minimum onsite (hours may be slightly modified to accommodate for school schedule)
- Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA or higher
