Maintenance Technician III - 3rd Shift
Phoenix AZ Onsite Up to $32.00 per hour Temp to Hire
We are hiring an experienced Maintenance Technician to support a high-volume food manufacturing facility in Phoenix Arizona. This role operates on 3rd shift 9:00 PM to 5:30 AM with a standard 5-day schedule that increases to 6 days per week during peak season. Overtime is required during busy production cycles.

Schedule & Work Environment
- Shift:3rd Shift 9:00 PM - 5:30 AM
- Schedule:5 days per week increases to 6 days during busy season
- Overtime:Required during peak production periods
- Location:100% onsite in Phoenix AZ
- Environment:Food manufacturing facility
Key Responsibilities
This role plays a critical part in maintaining production uptime reliability and safety standards.
- Perform all maintenance functions supporting Total Preventive Maintenance TPM and Reliability Centered Maintenance RCM programs
- Execute scheduled preventative maintenance tasks
- Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions by analyzing breakdowns identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions
- Maintain equipment performance to achieve maximum production at optimal cost quality and safety standards
- Accurately complete work orders and maintenance summary reports
- Perform data entry and system transactions using internal computer applications
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures for maintenance processes
- Maintain organization and cleanliness in maintenance and production support areas
- Ensure compliance with GMP requirements and safety policies
- Comply with all applicable state and federal regulations
- Participating in continuous improvement initiatives
- Contribute to a world-class manufacturing environment
- Support cross-functional collaboration across departments
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 yearsof experience in a maintenance technician role
- 5 years of experienceaccepted in lieu of formal education
- High School Diploma or GED preferred not required
- Working knowledge of:
- Valves and valve actuators
- Gaskets and seals
- HTST process systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Basic computer skills Microsoft Office and Teams experience preferred
- Knowledge of electrical theory and PLC programming preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong teamwork orientation and willingness to cross-train
Safety & PPE Requirements
- Required to wear steel-toed boots
- Goggles and ear protection required
- Additional PPE provided by the client
- Must adhere strictly to documented safety standards
