We are seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to design and develop high-performance user interfaces using React. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment focused on innovation and continuous improvement.

As a Senior Frontend Engineer you will spearhead the development of cutting-edge applications using advanced React skills translating UI/UX designs into scalable responsive interfaces. This role is integral to our mission of developing sophisticated high-performing applications for diverse industries.

What will your job look like

• You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including backend developers and UI/UX designers to innovate and enhance usability while mentoring junior developers and fostering a culture of excellence.
• You will lead the development of sophisticated user interfaces with React demonstrating advanced proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript to create dynamic and responsive web applications.
• You will be expected to address complex frontend challenges with exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Oversee the creation of complex web applications using React ensuring a seamless and high-quality user experience across browsers and devices.
• Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into efficient and visually appealing code ensuring all design elements are technically feasible.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability maintaining responsive interfaces on various devices and platforms.
• Conduct comprehensive code reviews to uphold high standards of code quality and maintainability across the team.
• Mentor and guide junior frontend developers promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
• Stay updated with emerging frontend technologies and industry trends driving innovation and maintaining a culture of excellence within the team.

All you need is...

Bachelors degree in Science/IT/Computer Science or equivalent

• 5 years of experience in Frontend Development with a proven track record as a Software Developer.
• Strong expertise in React with proficiency in leading web application development.
• Familiarity with React core principles state management (e.g. Redux Zustand) and ecosystem
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript for enhanced code quality and maintainability
• Intermediate proficiency in modern frontend technologies including CSS3 and HTML5
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Leadership and mentorship capabilities to support and guide junior developers

Nice to have skills:

• Experience working in design systems
• Experience working with UI libraries
• Exposure to RESTful APIs and GraphQL for asynchronous request handling.
• Exposure to Carbon/Storybook UI Tools
• Experience with React Native
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP
• Familiarity with DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines
• Keen attention to detail and self-motivation
• Experience working in agile development environments
