Job Overview

We are seeking a Cloud Systems Developer to join our Business Cloud Services team. This role is ideal for a strong SAP ABAP developer who is ready to expand into cloudbased platforms modern development practices and DevOps workflows.

The Cloud Systems Developer will design develop and maintain SAP solutions while actively learning and applying cloud technologiespreferably Microsoft Azureand GitHubbased source control and CI/CD practices. This position plays a key role in the modernization of our SAP landscape bridging traditional SAP development with cloudnative and hybrid architectures.

In addition to handson development this role will help guide ABAP development standards and practices across a global team ensuring highquality scalable and supportable solutions for our customers.

Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and cloudintegrated SAP solutions is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Design develop and maintain SAP solutions using ABAP including custom programs reports interfaces and enhancements.
• Contribute to the evolution of SAP systems toward cloudenabled and hybrid architectures.
• Learn adopt and apply cloud development concepts with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
• Develop and support integrations between SAP systems and cloudbased services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across SAP and cloudconnected environments.
• Perform unit and integration testing to ensure solution quality performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams (platform security infrastructure and application teams) to deliver integrated solutions.
• Ensure development aligns with SAP standards internal governance and modern engineering best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor other developers on ABAP standards and modern development approaches.
• Optimize and enhance existing applications to improve performance scalability and user experience.
• Create and maintain technical documentation including designs test plans and operational documentation.
• Participate in GitHubbased source control and CI/CD pipelines for SAP and cloudintegrated solutions.
• Develop and maintain enterpriselevel applications using SAP BTP including SAP HANA and SAP Fiori.
• Configure and customize SAP BTP services such as SAP Integration Suite SAP API Management and SAP Workflow.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 8 years of SAP ABAP development experience.
• Strong understanding of SAP development methodologies standards and best practices.
• Experience working on complex SAP environments with multiple modules and integrations.
• Demonstrated interest in learning and working with cloud technologies preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with or willingness to adopt Gitbased development preferably using GitHub.
• Strong problemsolving and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot across systems.
• Ability to work independently manage multiple priorities and meet delivery timelines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in a global teamoriented environment.
• Experience with agile development methodologies is a plus.
• Experience with cloudbased or hybrid SAP environments is a plus.
• Exposure to additional technologies such Java SQL APIs or DevOps tooling is a plus.
• Experience with SAP BTP SAP S/4HANA and SAP Fiori is a plus.
