Program Summary
KBR Metrology supports Honeywell Aerospace Otto Instruments Garrett Advance Motion and their suppliers with services including onsite/offsite laboratory visits test equipment calibration and repair AMS2750 pyrometry services metrology engineering and equipment inspection. They also offer preventative maintenance equipment sourcing CMM inspections automation and programming measurement technical support calibration recall system management and performance tracking dashboards.
Job Summary
Contacts vendors by mail email or phone to coordinate RMA/RFQs expected completion tracking of shipments meeting turnaround time:21days.
Roles and Responsibilities
Under minimal supervision coordinates and expedites the flow of equipment to vendors. Establishes and communicates completion dates for deliverable.
Administratively receive equipment from vendors and coordinate with leads to process back into our system.
Coordinates the interface between logistics functions such as transportation maintenance and warehousing to ensure efficient timely and cost-effective support to the customer.
Coordinates with customers to ensure desired logistics objectives priorities and schedules aremet and communicated to management.
Coordinates with Environmental Safety and other Shared Services functional areas as appropriate in regard to logistical functions performed under contract.
Coordinates and conducts pick-up and delivery of measuring equipment with customers employees and management.
Follows established standard work instructions ensuring quality throughout the processes.
Reviewing quality document prior to shipping ensuring all required paperwork is attached appropriately and billing the appropriate accounts.
Contacts vendors by email or phone to coordinate RMA/RFQs expected completion tracking of shipments. Update system to reflect most current status.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
Must have a valid US drivers license.
High School Diploma or equivalent and Two year of directly related work experience.
Experience with Microsoft office (Word Excel and PowerPoint)
Customer Service with Internal/External suppliers.
Preferred Qualifications
Working knowledge of SAP or other tracking system with regard to receiving transactions
Previous experience in logistics for a manufacturing environment.
Indysoft software experience is a plus.
