Are you an innovative researcher with a passion for (organo)metallic chemistry and a keen interest in the production of these products At Nouryon we are seeking a talented and driven individual to join our team as a full-time Researcher in this role you will conduct experimental work in the lab and explore new innovations for our (organo)metallic products in in the global polymer industry.

In your future role as Researcher you will
As a Researcher you will be an expert in (organo)metallic chemistry driving new developments for Nouryon. You will be exploring and develop new products as well as improving present processes. Your responsibilities will include:
- Generating and validating new ideas for R&D projects aligned with market trends.
- Conducting experiments yourself to develop these ideas into commercial products or solutions.
- Collaborating with a team to ensure the success of projects with the opportunity to manage your own R&D initiatives.
- Collaborating with Technology group and global Nouryon production sites.
We believe you bring
- At least 1-3 years of experience in (organo)metallic chemistry. Additional experience in organic and/or polymer chemistry is a plus.
- A BSc or MSc in Organic(metallic) Chemistry or a related scientific field.
- A hands-on mentality.
- A collaborative spirit ready to tackle challenges with your colleagues.
- Strong proficiency in written and spoken English; knowledge of Dutch is an advantage.
Great if you have
- A solid background in chemistry related to polymer chemistry.
- Experience in project management is advantageous.
- A strong desire to conduct experiments and explore new areas within the field of (organo)metallic chemistry.
